Vent Del Mar Organic Garnatxa

Crafted from a harmonious blend of Garnatxa Negra, Syrah, Garnatxa Peluda, and Garnatxa Tintorera, this wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with wild yeast in stainless steel tanks, allowing for gentle skin contact. Maturation in large Austrian Oak foudres for 3 months yields a fruity red that promises further development over the next 4-6 years. Garnacha and Syrah are classic partners in Terra Alta. The red berry fruit of the Garnacha, think cranberries and red cherries, blends perfectly with the darker fruits and spice of Syrah, such as black plum and pepper. A fruity, medium bodied red, great for all occasions, particularly with casual dishes like pasta and rice, as well as on its own, perhaps slightly chilled.
