Made by the country’s only Master of Wine, British-born Richard Kershaw, this Pinot Noir is proof that South Africa can do cool-climate wines with style. The carefully selected vineyards sites on the Cape South Coast benefit from cooling maritime breezes, extending the growing season and allowing grapes to ripen slowly. In turn they develop complexity and acidity, resulting in a finished wine bursting with notes of cherry, strawberry, blossom and spearmint. Light and juicy with bright acidity, each glass is full of red-fruit flavours and spice. A wonderful match for everything from charcuterie to pork dishes.
