Rodolphe Demougeot 2017, Pommard

Rodolphe Demougeot created his estate in 1992, after his grandparents gave him a taste of working the land. He applies several principles borrowed from organic farming to craft wines from first-rate grapes. This wine is wonderfully silky with notes of red cherry, violet, rose and a hint of leather. Its savoury character makes it an excellent choice for roast duck.
