With 33 vintages already under his belt, Peter founded the label in 1979 to help process the year’s glut of local grapes – his efforts are credited with saving many old vineyards from ruin. Now The Barossan range showcases quintessential wine styles from Australia’s most famous viticultural area. This award-winning Chardonnay was aged for nine months on its lees to develop complex notes of peach, nectarine, nutmeg, almond and lemon curd. Pair it with roast chicken, pan-fried fish or a mild creamy curry.
