But if you spend just a little extra, you can unlock Stefano’s full arsenal of winemaking tricks with the Nero Oro Riserva. Taken from his best vineyards and aged for 18 months in oak, it’s closer to a rich Amarone than its island home would suggest. Expect bold damson, blackcurrant and dried-fig notes, with a rich oak spice. The plush fruity flavours make it a delicious pairing for juicy beef burgers.
