This unoaked Merlot is crafted in the eastern reaches of the Pays d’Oc, where deep clay-limestone soils and late-ripening conditions allow for rich flavour development. The grapes are harvested at night to preserve freshness and then vinified without oak to let the fruit shine. Expect juicy aromas of fresh cherry and plum, with subtle notes of dried herbs and black pepper. On the palate, it’s soft, round and medium-bodied, with an easy, fruit-forward charm.
