Produced in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil on the right bank of the Loire Valley, it’s a great reminder that fantastic reds can be found here as well as whites. The commune itself has several stunning castles – and it’s renowned for wines that represent the variety the Loire Valley has to offer. With notes of raspberry and wild strawberry and silky tannins, this is a great pairing for cured meats, grilled meats or cheese.
