Definition by Majestic Albariño

A collaboration with one of Rías Baixas finest producers, Martín Códax. This textbook Albariño is typical of its coastal location, displaying fruity notes with crisp, salinic minerality. In 1985 a group of 50 winegrowers got together to create what is today Bodegas Martín Códax. They knew that in joining forces, they would be able to take their beloved grape, Albariño, outside of Portugal to delight the world – and they certainly achieved their goal with the grape now celebrated the world over. Defined by three core pillars: people, land, and culture, the Martin Codax ethos is a perfect match for our Definition By Majestic range, a true stalwart of Portuguese winemaking. How does it taste: This wine is everything we love about Albariño. Crisp apricot and citrus notes, balanced by a distinctive sea-spray minerality and light salinity. A fantastic pairing for seafood, particularly crudo and sushi; as well as fish fresh soft cheeses and spice.
