In an impressive departure from the norm, this vibrant offering features 85% Carmenere and 15% Merlot, showcasing the rarity of Carmenere as a single varietal in Italy, particularly in traditional Veneto. Hand-harvested grapes undergo fermentation in stainless steel, following by malolactic fermentation and 12 months of ageing in used barriques and stainless steel. The result is a balanced, fresh wine with an elegant structure, showcasing fruity and spicy character. It is drinking well now and will continue to age for another 5-10 years.
