Created in 1839 on the banks of Cromarty Firth, Dalmore is an icon of Highland single malt whisky, with its rich, full-bodied style. Each bottle has carried the shape of a stag since it was awarded to a Mackenzie family ancestor by a king. Tradition still factors in today – masters Gregg Glass and Richard Paterson have been custodians of the whisky for over six decades. This special single vintage expression shows their unwavering dedication to perfection. The whisky begins its journey in ex-bourbon American oak casks before being finished in hand-selected Pedro Ximénez and Matusalem Sherry barrels. Expect opulent chocolate, caramel, mandarin and black pepper aromas, plus flavours of honey, cacao, apple, vanilla cream and brioche.
