This bold blend of Alicante Bouschet with a hint of Syrah is deep, spicy and layered. It starts with a unique approach: whole-cluster Syrah begins a pseudo carbonic maceration, followed by the addition of destemmed Alicante Bouschet berries and gentle foot treading to coax out flavour. A partial malolactic fermentation softens the acidity, creating a balanced richness. Aged in both wooden and concrete tanks, the wine’s intensity shines now and promises to age beautifully over the next five to 10 years.
