Eric Laurent, one of Saumur’s top winemakers, makes Le Bois Doré from Chenin Blanc on 30-year-old vines. The wine spends time in contact with texture-building grape skins, resulting in a mouth-filling white that bursts with grapefruit, pineapple and honeycomb notes.
